MLN Law Inducted Into the Georgia Verdicts Hall of Fame

On December 3, 2014, Michael Neff, Susan Cremer, Dwayne Adams, and Shane Peagler of the Law Offices of Michael Neff were inducted into the Georgia Verdicts Hall of Fame.  Team Neff, along with co-counsel Gil Deitch and Andy Rogers, were honored for their work in Taylor v. Six Flags.

The $35 million verdict against Six Flags and four of its employees came after a five day trial in Cobb County.  The jury heard evidence that Six Flags allowed a culture of gangs and violence by its employees on the property.  The employees targeted a young man and his friends who had been at the park all day to celebrate one of them getting in to college.  The Plaintiff was beaten into a coma and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

The jury also heard evidence that Six Flags was on notice of the criminal activity for years – including a “drive by” shooting just one year before the incident.
