Susan Cremer is attending the the annual Judicial Conference of the United States Court of Federal Claims at the National Courts Building in Washington, D.C., on November 17, 2014. The conference panels include emerging issues in Vaccine Claims and significant cases in the US Supreme Court and Federal Circuit. The keynote speaker is attorney Ken Feinberg, who will speak on alternative dispute resolution in federal cases, including his role as administrator of funds for victims of 9/11, the BP oil spill, and the Boston marathon bombings.
On November 18, Ms. Cremer will attend the annual conference of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association, also in D.C., at George Washington University Law School. Topics include the evolving burden of proof in linking vaccines to injuries; trends in settlement and damages; and a presentation on the CDC whistleblower regarding issues in autism in vaccine cases.
